The most problems I had with this assignment was waiting so long for the camera to take the picture when the aperture was as high as 1/22. Most of the time when I took the picture on 1/5 or 1/11 it turned out nice but when I took it on 1/22, the picture turned out blurry. I found that when I took a picture of Atiyah, my pictures turned out well and better than all my other pictures.

EXPOSURE- Shutter Speed

I did understand the principle of shutter speed. I learned lots of things while
using shutter speed. When the shutter speed was as high as 1/4000 the
picture was very clear and light, rather than if the shutter speed was as
low as 1/10 the picture was really dark and it took forever to take the picture.
I was able to successfully control the shutter speed. It wasn't that complicated
to handle and it was straight forward. I feel like I got good enough results from
using the shutter speed. I think my pictures came out nice.
Watching Light
I took my first picture around 6 pm. First I took a picture of the window, where the light was balancing on the window seal. I mostly took pictures of how the light was balancing on the floor, and a table, or even a wall. I noticed a lot of things while doing this assignment. I noticed that wherever I took a picture of where the light was coming from it had a certain angle. I also noticed that when I was lighter around 6, you couldn't see the reflection of the window on the window on the glass table. But around 7 when it got darker, I started to notice the reflection of the window on the table.
This assignment made me feel kind of bored. Like I could not just sit there for an hour and watch light. light. It was boring but at the same time it was interesting. I learned and noticed a lot of things from this assignment. I also noticed that no matter how much you look at the sky you never really notice the sky getting darker. Usually you see the sky get darker when you're not paying attention to it.
Know Your Rights
Before I read these articles I knew that you could take pictures of things in public places.
That's common sense because you have the right to use your camera or cellphone to take
pictures if you want to, unless there's a sign that says that you can't. I have been told to stop
taking pictures in a public space, which is a museum. I was taking pictures of certain art pieces
that was being displayed out on the walls. I was told to stop because the flash would harm the
pictures and I never understood how the flash off a camera could harm the art in museums. Whenever
I go to museums I always have my phone with me anyway at all times, but I think of not taking pictures
because there's always those securities that's always staring at you. I always thought I would get
caught so I didn't bother taking pictures there at all.
I agree with these issues and I think they are fair. For example, if you're taking pictures on
someone's property, they have the right to tell you to get off their property. Another example
is, having the right to photograph in a plain view. I agree with that completely. There's no reason
you should not be able to photograph in a plain view if nothing serious is there. All the other rights
that are explained in those two articles are fair, nobody should have a problem following those rights.
